I think that sometimes a person is put in those situations to make you give up and lose your joy- and if a person can manage to keep a positve attitude, the awesome experience is just around the bend.
We knew that we had alot of traveling to do this summer, and Shannon had to make a work trip to NC. Well, I'm in charge of navigation, and I knew that we had to drive it striaght through, and that we needed to drive through several big cities along the way, and we did not have time to take a wrong turn. So, I decided that we are buying a Garmin on our way out of town. It was the best money that we have spent in a while. It makes driving in big cities so much less stressful. It talks to you, and tells you when your next turn is coming up. Also, if you make a wrong turn, it will get you back on track. :-)Bobbinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2261895785404424127.post-23960519668225393402009-07-31T06:36:26.794-07:002009-07-31T06:36:26.794-07:00Thanks for stopping by my blog. By the time we got back to the car my three girls and I were all in tears and my poor husband had to calm us all down. Despite that year, our other experiences there have been wonderful. The great thing is that this concert series is free to attend (unless you want to camp).
I am glad your experience turned out good despite a few bumps.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13729746508094507948noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2261895785404424127.post-12522479897908783232009-07-31T02:30:26.725-07:002009-07-31T02:30:26.725-07:00What a wonderful adventure for you both! Like I said our old daughter went a couple years ago, they stayed in the tent city - they waited in that long line of parked cars for their turn (they had reseveations) they endured the heat and had an amazing God filled time! You got the experience God filled you and it was good! Congrats!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
